If you are considering moving to a business park in Cambridge or the wider Cambridgeshire area, Lancaster Way, which is set in 175 acres and home to over 85 businesses, could be the solution. The Park is located on the A142 just 20 minutes from Cambridge Science Park along the A10, leaving the A14 at Junction 33.

Please consider a lift-share scheme where possible such as www.liftshare.com

Bike

At Grovemere we actively promote cycling to work and provide five pool bikes on-site through our bike hire scheme. The service is free of charge and is available to anyone employed on the business park. For more information or to borrow a bike please either call 01353 664531 or 01353 666666.

Ely in common with the rest of East Cambridgeshire is relatively flat so cycling is an excellent alternative. It’s also a greener way to travel.

Train

Ely Station is only a mile from Lancaster Way Business Park and it takes 15 minutes or less by train to Cambridge North Station which services Cambridge Science Park. It takes from as little as 15 minutes to get to Cambridge Central Station from Ely and direct travel to London Kings Cross takes from 1 hour 10 minutes. Birmingham New Street and the Midlands can be accessed by train in around 2 hours 30 minutes.

For train information go to www.nationalrail.co.uk.

Foot

Walking to work is one of the most sustainable ways to travel. Walking as part of your daily routine is good both for your own health and the environment. Occupiers enjoy various amenities on Lancaster Way which are designed to boost wellbeing and include our 1.16 mile Trim Trail.

There is pedestrian access to the site from the roundabout at the top of the site and also from Bedwell Hey Lane which is controlled for security by an access code. For the code please contact the office on 01353 666666.

Bus

The fantastic Ely Zipper bus service provides a regular all-day local bus service from the centre of Ely via the train station right into the heart of the business park.

Stagecoach number 9 service from Cambridge and the 39 from Ely also serve Lancaster Way Business Park with a bus stop just outside the entrance and on-site respectively.

For more information on both services please go to https://dews-coaches.com/local-bus-service.php for the Zipper service or www.stagecoachbus.com for the 9 and 39 services.

Sustainable Travel

At Grovemere, we are committed to sustainable park management and to making Lancaster Way a greener place to enjoy both now and in the future.

We subsidise the Ely Zipper bus, operate a bike hire scheme and have created a bike friendly park with a network of cycle paths.

Our commitment to the environment is seen in various initiatives from recycling to sustainable water collection and in our aim to build in the most sustainable way possible.
